Architect
FunkFlow pioneers the integration of construction, hi-tech development, and robotics, aiming to establish a unique presence in the market. Being at the MVP stage, we're crafting a system to produce wall panels, floor slabs, load-bearing structures, and a hidden connection system for construction. With a primary emphasis on hybrid construction methods, we target CO2 emission reduction while digitizing the design-to-production process for enhanced efficiency.
We're currently seeking an Architect to join our team, focused on drastically reducing the time needed for domain experts to create production-ready building models. Leveraging parametric computations and genetic algorithms, our aim is to develop cost-effective and environmentally friendly architectures, revolutionizing the construction landscape.
Responsibilities
- Produce master plan drawings, detailing the object’s location on-site and its surrounding infrastructure (roads, buildings, bridges, trees, etc.), along with layout plans, facade drawings, and section drawings.
- Create detailed sections, cross-sections, master planning, wind flow analysis, solar radiation analysis, and landscape design, establishing project frameworks from the outset.
- Take existing designs and develop multiple conceptual sketches, finalizing a library of elements and rules, such as creating and selecting facade cladding options.
- Adapt floor plans to accommodate structural changes and handle design tasks, including internal and interior designs.
- Break down layouts, including apartment layouts per floor.
- Create and manage IFC models in Revit or other compatible software.
- Coordinate material specifications, including requirements for wall thermal conductivity, fire resistance, and acoustics, in collaboration with relevant consultants.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Building Codes and Standards.
- Experience with Sustainable and Energy-Efficient Design.
- Proficiency in CAD and BIM Software.
- Project Management Skills.
- Construction Knowledge and Site Management.
